GRADE 8 MARKET DAY 2009
It was a day filled with fun and excitement, For the grade 8`s, however, it was also a day filled with pride and leadership.
The quad was filled with the hustle and bustle of anxious students making their way from stall to stall, fulfilling their taste buds` desires.
They sold a variety of goods ranging from luxuries to tasty foods and decadent desserts. Students were spoilt for choice of foods like schwarmas, chicken burgers, Gatsbies, hot dogs, etc. and also very creative luxury packs. Everything was appealing to the eye.
When the students walked away from the individual stalls, they left with both quality and quantity. The most amazing part about Market Day is not only seeing all the smiles, it’s the lessons and skills learnt.
The experience is thrilling and something to be proud of.
The grade 8`s did exceptionally well, they most definitely let the entrepreneurs inside themselves out. Well done to them.
This could easily have been one of the best Market Days to grace the grounds of South Peninsula High School.
