INTER-HOUSE 2010
The competition this year was again very tight and very keenly contested. With the final positions uncertain until the very last race, everything hinged on the Boys u/19 relay (just as is did last year). When the dust settled, the final points were read. They were as follows: 1. Mimosa (514); 2. Kendal (506,5); 3. Azalea (433,5); and 4. Protea (433). Yes, Azalea beat Protea by 0,5, reversing last year’s position, when Protea pipped Azalea by 1 point.
 
The prelude to the annual inter-house athletics meeting was held on Monday 1 February. Following the age-old tradition, the athletes march into the quad to be greeted by the war-cries and songs of the cheering supporters. The captains are introduced and the challenges are laid down.
