TABLE TENNIS

Owing to the demise of inter-school table tennis, it was decided that SP would enter a team in the WP club competition. The driving forces behind this idea were Mr B. Isaacs, Mr P. Baumgartner and Mr H. Ismail, a parent of two former students of SP. The team, which consists of the two teachers mentioned, as well as Mr Z. Waghid, Mrs C. van der Rheede and Mr J. Leisegang, husband of teacher Mrs Tracey Leisegang, as well as two students, Cindy Jacobs and Nicholas Lamprecht, initially found the going quite tough, but is now improving match by match.
