TENNIS
I am extremely happy about the progress of tennis at SPHS. We fielded four teams in this term in the Western Province School’s league (two boys and two girl’s teams). The following students represented the school in tennis:

I want to thank these students who sacrificed their afternoons after school as well as a Saturday afternoon (to play for the senior SP club). We completed all our matches except for the matches scheduled on our inter-house athletics days.
Star performances include those of Sandy Cupido and Liam Metcalfe. Cindy Jacobs and Toni-Lee Flatwell (both left-handers) have great potential. Nikeeta Sutton has developed into a good tennis player and brings stability to the girls’ first team.
